Teenage girl in hospital after A11 at Barton Mills, near Mildenhall, three-vehicle crash before Fiveways roundabout

A teenage girl was taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the A11 outside a town.

Officers were alerted to the incident on the A11 southbound at Barton Mills, near Mildenhall, at 11.15am.

A police spokesperson said it was around three quarters of a mile before the Fiveways roundabout.

It was believed the collision is damage only, but the ambulance service has been called.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said one vehicle was sent to the scene.

It took the teenage girl to West Suffolk Hospital with minor injuries.

There were delays stretching back to the B1112 bridge.
