Police officers attacked by drunken male in Mildenhall

A police officer was bitten on the arm and another punched in the face by a drunken male in Mildenhall.

The incident happened last night when the intoxicated male turned violent against officers who were trying to help him home.

An officer was bitten on the arm and another punched in the face.

A tweet by Mildenhall police said: "Whilst both officers are ok (sic), this is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated."
