Beck Row Nostalgia - Tim returns to playgroup aged 24 to mark nursery's 21st anniversary

In today's nostalgia we go back to 1995 when tots at a Beck Row playgroup had plenty to celebrate when they helped mark 21 years of tradition.

One of their first members, 24-year-old Tim Handy, who had a special fondness for the playgroup leader Topsy Bacon, joined them.

Mrs Bacon had been the leader since the playgroup started.

Tim, who worked at Safepac in Mildenhall, said: “Topsy has been my second mum. I was very lucky to have her.

“It made me feel quite old coming back to playgroup after all these years.”
