Teenager disqualified from driving and fined after admitting causing serious injuries to two people through careless driving on A1101 in Mildenhall




A teenager has been disqualified from driving for 18 months after admitting causing serious injuries to two people through careless driving in a town.

Thomas Yorke, 19, of Upware, near Ely, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court yesterday.

At the same court on January 31, he indicated he was guilty of two counts of causing serious injury to a male and a female through careless/inconsiderate driving.

The charges relate to an incident on the A1101 in Mildenhall on September 7.

He was driving an Audi A3 when it happened.

Yorke was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of £199.

He was also ordered to complete 200 hours of community work within 12 months.
