Vehicles in Mildenhall targeted by thieves in two-day spree

Concern is growing in Mildenhall after vehicles were targeted by thieves in a two-day spree.

A total of four cars were entered, with thieves smashing the window to gain entry to one vehicle.

The spree began in Queensway last Friday with access gained to an insecure vehicle parked on a driveway between 8am and 11.25am, (crime reference number - 37/54310/21) but nothing was stolen.

Speakers were later stolen from an insecure vehicle in Churchill Drive between 10.30pm that day and 6am on Saturday (37/56401/21).

Vehicle doors were left open after an untidy search in Folly Road on Saturday between 12.05am and 8.15am (37/56364/21).

A window was smashed between 6am and 6.30am to gain entry to a vehicle in Melrose Close (ref 37/56374/21)

Officers would like to remind car owners to always lock their vehicles and check the locks have engaged.
