A14 near Needham Market closed as person airlifted to hospital after crash between two lorries and car

Two people have been taken to hospital, with one airlifted, after a crash between two lorries and a car.
The A14 is closed after emergency services, including police, fire service as well as an air ambulance and land ambulance, were called at around 3.40pm to the crash near Needham Market heading towards Coddenham.
Five fire crews were called to the incident.
One person has been transported by road to Ipswich Hospital and other has been flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The road has been closed for over two hours both ways from junction 50 of the A1120, Stowupland to junction 51 of the A140 Kettle Lane, Needham Market.
Long delays have been reported and the police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
