Body recovered from Needham Lake, off Coddenham Road, after search for missing man

A body has been found after a search for a missing man at a town lake.

SuffolkNews reported on Saturday residents had been asked to avoid the Needham Lake area, off Coddenham Road, as the searches took place.

The body was recovered from the lake yesterday evening.

Police teams received assistance from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR) and Suffolk Fire and Rescue.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The man’s next of kin have been notified.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.
