Firefighters tackle blaze in Station Yard, Needham Market
Firefighters tackled a large blaze which left a man with burns to his face, arms and feet.
Fire crews were called to the 10m by 8m fire on the first floor of a three-storey building in Station Yard, Needham Market, at 5.45am.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said four fire engines and an aerial appliance were deployed near the town’s train station.
All people have been accounted for — however, a man suffered burns and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
The incident was deemed safe by 7.43am.
Suffolk Police was also at the scene to close the road, which reopened by 8.53am.
