Public asked to avoid Needham Lake area as searches continue for missing person in Needham Market

Emergency services are currently conducing searches in connection with a missing person in Needham Market.

Police initially attended Needham Lake, off Coddenham Road, yesterday afternoon and began searches.

The searches of the lake and its surroundings are continuing today, with police teams receiving assistance from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR) and Suffolk Fire and Rescue.

The public is asked to avoid the area of the lake whilst this is ongoing.
