Stretch of A14 eastbound in Needham Market area cleared after earlier two-vehicle crash past A140 on-slip at junction 51




A stretch of the A14 was blocked this morning after a two-vehicle crash near a town.

Police were alerted to the incident on the eastbound carriageway in the Needham Market area, just past the A140 on-slip at junction 51, at 8.25am.

The vehicles were initially blocking the road.

A police spokesperson said the vehicles have now been moved to a lay-by.

One of the vehicles has been recovered, while the owner of the other is arranging recovery for themselves.

No-one was injured.

The carriageway was cleared by 9.10am.

Some delays persist in the area, but these should be cleared soon.
