Razvan-Crisstian Haidau, 19, of no-fixed-address, sentenced after cocaine found during police stop in Needham Market




A teenager caught with multiple bags of cocaine has been sentenced to 20 months in a young offender institution.

Razvan-Crisstian Haidau, 19, of no-fixed-address, was stopped by police while driving in Needham Market on Thursday, January 2.

Officers searched the vehicle and found bags of powder cocaine hidden inside.

Haidau was arrested and Suffolk Police released footage of the search taking place.

He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

He pleaded guilty at Ipswich Crown Court and was sentenced to 20 months.

The court also issued a forfeiture order for the car he was driving.
