Arson attack at Haverhill flat

Police are appealing for witnesses after an arson attack at a flat in Haverhill.

The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 1.40pm on Saturday June 11 in Gannet Close.

An insecure ground floor flat was entered and a fire was deliberately started inside. The flat was not occupied at the time, but neighbouring flats had to be evacuated.

The fire has caused considerable damage to the flat where the blaze occurred and smoke damage to neighbouring flats.
