Barkwith Gardeners’ Association

A five-day trip to Wales was the choice for the final holiday of the year for members and guests of Barkwith and District Gardeners’ Association.

En route, there was a visit to Hampton Court Castle and Gardens, which most passengers were not aware existed, all being much more familiar with the famous Hampton Court Palace.

Then it was on to Cardiff for four nights.

The holiday included a guided tour of the city of Cardiff, a visit to the Royal Mint, a tour of the Brecon Beacons, a full day in Teanby and a trip to Caldey Island.

All too soon it was time to pack and prepare for the return journey home, with thanks going to organiser Les Robinson.
