Cheveley man admits to growing cannabis plants in High Street home

A Cheveley man has pleaded guilty to growing 36 cannabis plants, worth around £30,000 at his High Street home.
Mark Andrews, 39, appeared before magistrates in Cambridge when he was committed to the city’s crown court for sentence on a date to be fixed.
He was granted unconditional bail until the hearing.
He also admitted causing criminal damage to two windows belonging to Gary Cartwright on March 27. He was fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.
