Exning under starter's orders for Saturday's duck race

Exning’s most popular fund-raising event will be held on Saturday.

Villagers and visitors will be heading to the stream in Church Lane for the annual duck races which are set to get under way at noon.

There will be an allcomers' race, followed by a contest for under 16s and other races.

As well as the events on the water there will be stalls, activities and refreshments in the village hall and churchyard and a demonstration by the fitness group Newmarket Bounce.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to Christian Aid.
