Great Get Together marks anniversary of MP’s tragic death

Saturday’s nationwide Great Get Together, in memory of MP Jo Cox who was murdered in her Yorkshire constituency a year ago, was joined by people from Newmarket who visited a market stall set up by the local branch of the Labour Party.
Organiser Ollie Bowen said the event was to celebrate the things people have in common rather than those that divide them and to raise awareness of the Jo Cox Foundation for which a plant sale raise £197.32.
