Jack Savoretti and Rick Astley to headline 2020 Newmarket Nights concert
Rick Astley and Jack Savoretti are the latest two acts announced to be playing at next summer's Newmarket Nights concerts at the July Course.
They will be headlining on Friday July 31 and Friday August 7 respectively.
Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up topped charts in the 1980s the world over and was the start of a career that would see him have eight consecutive UK Top 10 hits and 40 million sales. After a break of almost 30 years later he returned to recording with his platinum-selling album 50. Last month, he released his career-spanning compilation The Best of Me, which also included an independently recorded set of re-imagined interpretations of his songs.
Selling over 100,000 tickets to his own UK headline shows since releasing 50, his forthcoming tour dates include gigs in Australia and Japan as well as his first ever show in New Zealand, before arriving at Newmarket Racecourses next July.

Jack Savoretti is will be making his Newmarket Nights debut on Friday August 7. The English-Italian singer-songwriter has had an extremely successful 2019 including a sold-out Wembley Arena show, collaborations with artists as diverse as Kylie, Mika and Sigma; and his album Singing to Strangers which has sold over 120,000 copies and became his first UK number one album.
Tickets will be on sale at 8am on Friday via thejockeyclublive.co.uk, with a presale available to customers at 8am on Wednesday.
