A14 westbound partially closed between Higham and Kentford after vehicle fire

A vehicle fire has closed part of a major route in Suffolk this afternoon.

Crews were called to the A14 westbound between Higham and Kentford just after 4pm.

Firefighters from Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket were alerted to the blaze.

Police are also on the scene and one lane is blocked, causing some traffic to build.
