Road rage incident sees man assaulted twice in one hour by the same suspect

A man has been attacked twice within an hour by the same man following a road related incident between two vehicles.

The first incident took place at the junction of Fitzwilliam Close and Queens Avenue, Woodbridge at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, while a second linked assault took place on the verge of the A12 southbound near the Adastral roundabout Park in Martlesham Heath just before 9.30pm the same evening.

The first incident saw the victim - driving a delivery van - assaulted by the driver of a white van, following a road related dispute.

The same suspect, then driving a black Audi, later forced the victim’s vehicle to stop on the edge of the A12 before assaulting the victim a second time leaving him requiring stitches for a cut above his left eye.

The suspect is described as being white, aged in his 30s, about 6ft tall, of muscular build, dark haired, with tattoos on his arms.
