The diver of the Vauxhall suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

Police have today launched an appeal for witnesses, or anyone who had seen either vehicle before the crash, to come forward.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: "Anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle in the lead up to it, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact police via web chat or by calling 101, quoting incident number 298 of 16 December."
