Two men charged with aggravated burglary in Burwell




Two men are set to appear in court today accused of aggravated burglary in Burwell.

In the early hours of Tuesday police were called to The Avenue in the village, responding to reports of a burglary in progress.

Robert Busby, 51, of The Avenue, and Vincent Marsh, 52, of Ross Street in Cambridge, were arrested and later charged with burglary and aggravated burglary.

The pair are expected to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court later today.

In the early hours of Tuesday residents reported about four police cars at the scene at about 4.30am. The cars left a few hours later.
