West Suffolk Hospital admits two more coronavirus patients
Two more coronavirus patients have been admitted to West Suffolk Hospital, according to latest figures.
As of noon yesterday, West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust had admitted 254 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 since the outbreak began.
Last week, the trust which runs the Bury St Edmunds hospital had admitted 252 patients.
The number of coronavirus patients who were well enough to be discharged remains at 134.
Seventy nine patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
The last coronavirus-related death at the Hardwick Lane hospital - a patient in their 80s with underlying health conditions - was confirmed on June 17.
