LEARN MOREAhead of tomorrow's derby at Newmarket Town, Mildenhall Town have been boosted by the news that two of their attacking players have agreed new terms with the club.
Suffolk News understands that leading marksman Tanner Call had been the subject of interest from a Step 4 club in recent days.
However, the 19-goal frontman has now agreed a deal to remain with the Recreation Way-based club.
Manager Ricky Cornish said: "Tanner has been exceptional since he came to the club and this season he has really taken that on.
"He's the type of player and person that you want at your football club. His attitude, his work-rate, his ethics – it's what you want as a manager.
"He's very popular with the rest of the boys and we're looking forward to him kicking on more during the second half of the season."
Also extending his stay with the club – until the end of the 2022/23 season – is winger Ben Nolan.
Nolan has established himself as a key member of Cornish's squad and is the joint second highest appearance maker this term with 26, from which he has scored four goals.
"We're really, really pleased with Benny's development over the last three years," added Cornish.
"Benny is a key part of what we are doing at the club and as good as he's been, I'm sure there's still plenty more to come.
"He's been terrific for us all the way through and we're glad he's staying put."
