Former Boston United and King’s Lynn Town defender Tyler Knowles agrees to join Soham Town Rangers
Soham Town Rangers manager Alex Cross has kickstarted his summer recruitment with the addition of Tyler Knowles.
The defender has agreed to link up with the Greens following a campaign in which he made 11 appearances in the Vanarama National League North for Boston United.
Knowles, who has also previously been on the books of King’s Lynn Town with Cross and Wisbech Town, ended the 2023/24 campaign with fellow Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Heacham.
Knowles said: “I’m very happy to be here. I feel like Soham is the best place to get my journey back up the pyramid started again.
“I’m excited to be joining up with Crossy again and hopefully having a successful season. It’s a completely new environment where I don’t know anyone so I look forward to meeting both the fans and players.”
Meanwhile, Cross added: “We are delighted to announce that Tyler has joined the club. He’s a good character, can play in a number of positions and possesses good quality leadership skills. I’m looking forward to working with him and introducing him into the club.”
The club have also confirmed that Ryan Auger, Jordan Gent, Lewis Jackaman, Hayden Lambert, Gabriel Muffett, Ryan Sharman and Charlie Sutcliffe have all agreed to remain at Julius Martin Lane.
