Soham Town Rangers announce departure of joint manager Matt Clements

Matt Clements has stepped down from his role as joint manager of Soham Town Rangers.

Clements initially arrived at Julius Martin Lane in the summer of 2021 as part of Robbie Mason's coaching staff.

However, following Mason's departure last December, Clements – along with Lloyd Groves – stepped up to take full charge of the Greens.

But going forward it will now be Groves in the hotseat on his own after Clements opted to part company with the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division club.

Groves will be assisted by coaches Clive Taylor and Niall Conroy, while former Ely City and Cambridge University joint boss Ben Farmer has also been added to the set-up.

Soham, who host Lakenheath in the Premier Division this evening (7.45pm), have also confirmed the departures of Shaun Firek (reserve manager) and Michael Firek (A team manager).
