LEARN MOREMildenhall Town have completed the re-signing of James Hall from neighbouring Newmarket Town.
The striker first linked up with Mildenhall in December 2019 and over the two Covid-impacted campaigns he found the net on 24 occasions in 26 appearances.
Hall joined rivals Newmarket in the summer and continued to score goals, racking up a total of 10 from 16 outings before player-manager Michael Shinn confirmed his departure from the Tristel Stadium earlier this month.
And now he is back in Mildenhall colours ahead of this afternoon's trip to Lakenheath (3pm).
Mildenhall manager Ricky Cornish said: "I'm delighted to have Hally back with us.
"He's a proven scorer at this level – 24 goals in 26 appearances for us shows that.
"He adds some experience to an already exciting and mobile front-line. The competition for places up front is excellent."
Meanwhile, Hall's former club Newmarket have announced the return of Joe Bennett.
The midfielder is back with the Jockeys after spell with higher-league Welwyn Garden City.
