Southwold and Aldeburgh welcome Weird Fish stores, which replace Joules in East Street and High Street

Everyday is the weekend as a lifestyle clothing brand, which replaced a high street staple, opens two locations in Suffolk.

Weird Fish launched in both Aldeburgh and Southwold on May 25, replacing former Joules stores.

The new locations bring the company’s total stores to 27, and mark the firm’s first foray into the county.

On offer is a range of seasonal clothing and accessories for men and women.

Weird Fish described its products as offering a relaxed ‘forever weekend’ vibe.

Richard Lancelot, Weird Fish’s head of retail, said: “Each store location is carefully considered in line with our ‘destination strategy’, as we focus on opening in places where we know our customers choose to shop.

“Aldeburgh and Southwold are popular staycation spots, known for their traditional coastal town qualities.

“Our offering ties in perfectly with high-quality, timeless products which become trusty wardrobe favourites for unwinding occasions – from beach strolls to catching up with friends at the local pub.”

Aldeburgh’s Weird Fish is located in High Street, next to wine merchant Russell & Newnes, while Southwold’s is located in East Street, opposite Seasalt Cornwall.
