Quay Lane, in Reydon, near Southwold, emergency closure implemented by Suffolk Highways due to flooding




An emergency closure has been implemented on a flooded road near a coastal town.

Suffolk Highways has shut Quay Lane, in Reydon, near Southwold, due to surface water flooding.

The agency said tankers have been onsite, but have not been able to stem the flow of water.

It said the closure will be in place until further notice, with no forecasted time for reopening.

Motorists should follow a diversion using the B1126 and A1095.
