Crews left the scene at around 6am on Monday morning.

While it is not known if Richard Curtis, 65, or Emma Freud, 60, were at the house when the fire took hold, it has been confirmed that no one was injured in the blaze.

Curtis is best known for his romantic comedy films including Love Actually, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Bridget Jones's Diary.

Appliances from across Suffolk, including crews from Beccles, Haverhill, Southwold and Framlingham, were called to the fire.
