Intelligence was received from police and members of the public on all of the retailers, with each given advice in previous months on their responsibilities.

Investigations are ongoing following the two incidents after retailers in the towns were told Suffolk Trading Standards would be visiting to test their due diligence.

The legal age to buy alcohol, vapes or e-cigarettes in the UK is 18 years old.

Trading Standards carry out underage sales operations across the county wherever there is intelligence to suggest that shops are selling age restricted goods to anyone underage.
