Man suffers bruising after Halesworth alleyway assault

A man in his 50s has suffered bruising after an assault in Halesworth last weekend.

Three people were believed to have been involved in an altercation in an alleyway by Pound Close and Saxons Way between 2.50pm and 3pm on May 4.

The victim was walking past two men before the incident took place.

The man suffered reddening and bruising to his body after the assault.

The two alleged culprits, described as wearing hoodies, ran away in the direction of Saxons Way.

Officers believe other pedestrians and residents in the area witnessed the incident and have urged anyone to come forward.
