Fire crews from Leiston, Halesworth, Saxmundham and Wrentham, called to blaze at clubhouse bar at Cliff House Holiday Park in Dunwich, near Southwold




Multiple fire crews have been battling a blaze at a holiday park’s clubhouse bar in a Suffolk village.

Engines were called at 4.40am to the incident in the clubhouse at Cliff House Holiday Park in Dunwich, near Southwold.

On arrival, the blaze was discovered in the bar area of the building and was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing equipment and using two hose-reel jets.

Appliances from Leiston, Halesworth, Saxmundham and Wrentham, and Halesworth attended.

Attendance was scaled back to one appliance by 7.13am.

A cause of the fire has yet to be identified.

There were no casualties in the incident.
