Suffolk Police appeal after personal possessions stolen in distraction theft in Wrentham, near Southwold




A worker at a village shop had their personal possessions stolen following a distraction theft.

The incident was between 2.57pm and 3.07pm on Saturday after a male and female entered a shop on the High Street in Wrentham, near Southwold.

Suffolk Police said the female distracted the worker while the male entered the residential part of the property, stealing an amount of cash.

The worker also found possessions from their bags discarded.

The man has been described as being approximately between the age of 30-40 with short dark hair and wearing blue shorts.

The woman was reported to have long dark hair, wearing a straw hat and a long sleeved top.

Anyone who has witnessed the incident is urged to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime 37/44132/23.
