Plans lodged to convert barns at Grove Farm, in Harleston Road, near Halesworth, to holiday accommodation

Plans have been lodged to convert a range of village barns into holiday accommodation.

The proposals, submitted to East Suffolk Council by Adrian Haylock and Jane McEvoy, could see the outbuildings at Grove Farm, in Harleston Road, near Halesworth, converted to four separate holiday accommodation units.

A design and access statement said a lean-to structure would be dismantled, reducing the scale of the outbuildings slightly.

It added that the development allowed for modern day living and the minimum standards for building control.

The statement added there would be ‘ample space’ around the converted buildings, meaning they would sit ‘comfortably’ within the site.

The holiday accommodation would be let to the general public.
