Police appeal after sheep killed with hammer and stolen in field near Mill Street, Middleton

A sheep was killed with a club hammer and stolen from a Suffolk field.

The incident was at some point between noon on Wednesday, December 13, and 11am on Thursday, December 14, near Mill Street, Middleton.

The animal which was killed with a hammer was taken away.

The hammer was left on the footpath.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or knows who was responsible is urged to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime 37/72036/23.
