Police rescue people after incident on the A145 in Brampton, near Southwold

Police rescued multiple people stuck in a car that crashed into a ditch late last night.

It happened on the A145 near Brampton, near Southwold, at around 11.10pm.

The car left the road and become stuck around the ditch, although it did not fully enter the trench.

No injuries were reported and all passengers were safely removed from the vehicle by officers.

The fire service was also called but not required.

The vehicle is off the road and not causing an obstruction. Recovery has been arranged.
