Middleton Road in Yoxford off A12, near Saxmundham, closed after single-vehicle crash near railway crossing




A road is closed off a major route in Suffolk following a single-vehicle crash near a railway crossing.

Police were called at about 11.40pm yesterday to the B1122 Middleton Road in Yoxford, off the A12.

The crash was close to the railway level crossing in the village and the route is shut with officers in attendance.

The closure is from the A12 junction with the B1122 to the staggered crossroads at Little Moor Road and Moor Road in Middleton Moor.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson has asked drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

The East of England Ambulance Service has been approached for a comment.
