Aldeburgh Fish & Chips named best place in England for a chippy this Easter
A Suffolk chippy has been named the best place in England for fish and chips this Easter.
Ahead of the long weekend, Absolute Digital Media has compiled a list of the best locations to enjoy one of the country's favourite takeaways.
The company researched prices for a medium and large portion of fish and chips, how many Instagram followers the restaurant had, as well their average monthly search volume.
Their research concluded that Aldeburgh Fish & Chips, in Aldeburgh, was the best in the country, fending off competition from Peter's Fish Factory in Margate, Kent, and Burton Road Chippy in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
With three sites across the town, including The Golden Galleon and The Upper Deck, Aldeburgh Fish & Chips has become the go to for fish and chips when visiting Aldeburgh.
Researchers found a medium portion costs £6.40, while a large portion is slightly more expensive at £7.40.
Aldeburgh Fish & Chips also has over 2,000 followers on Instagram, as well an average monthly search volume of 5,770.
Having been in operation for over 50 years, there may be no better time to tuck into their fish and chips.
