Suspected drug-driver arrested on A144 towards Halesworth near Southwold after being caught speeding

A suspected drug-driver was arrested on a busy route towards a Suffolk town.

Police stopped a car on the A144 towards Halesworth, near Southwold, on Sunday, October 8.

According to a spokesperson for the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team, the driver was arrested following a positive drug wipe.

The spokesperson also said the driver had been speeding along the route too.
