Teenage cyclist dies after collision in Holton, near Halesworth, involving all-terrain vehicle
A teenage cyclist has died following a collision which closed a village road last week.
Police were called to Bungay Road in Holton, shortly before 7.20am on April 30, after reports of a collision involving an all-terrain vehicle and a bicycle.
The cyclist, an 18-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was initially taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital by land ambulance.
He was then airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital where he died on Friday.
SuffolkNews had reported Bungay Road was shut after the incident for collision investigation work.
Officers are appealing for any potential witnesses and asking any motorists with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, who were driving in the area around the time of the collision, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
