Linstead Road, near Halesworth, targeted in burglary spree where tractors and ride-on lawnmowers stolen from properties

Tractors and ride-on lawnmowers were amongst items stolen in a burglary spree in a Suffolk town.

The incidents happened in the Linstead Road area, near Halesworth, where two farms were targeted by thieves between Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14.

An outbuilding at one farm in the road had a rollershutter door forced open and a tractor, ride-on lawnmower, chainsaw, hedge cutter and other power tools taken from inside, at some point between 4.30pm on the Monday and 7.50am on the Tuesday.

The next incident saw another tractor and ride-on lawnmower taken from a farm, both orange Kubota models, as well as tools and gardening equipment.

Officers believe the two incidents are linked.
