Woman taken to hospital suffering from severe effects of breathing in smoke after bungalow fire in Halesworth




A woman in her 30s has been taken to hospital after suffering severe effects from breathing in smoke in a bungalow blaze in a Suffolk town.

Firefighters were called at 1.06pm to a six metre by six metre fire in a bungalow in Beech Close, in Halesworth, near Southwold.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said a man, aged 70, also suffered from the effects of breathing in smoke at the scene.

Fire crews from Southwold, Halesworth and Bungay were in attendance and stood down at 2.39pm.
