Babergh and Mid Suffolk community fun days in summer lined up including in Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Thurston and more
Community fun days are set to come to Babergh and Mid Suffolk this summer with six locations lined up across the two districts.
The fun days during the school holidays will give people the chance to get involved with a large selection of activities with everything from climbing walls and axe throwing to arts and crafts and dancing on offer.
There will also be a range of information stalls where attendees can access valuable resources and information from a range of local services, charities and community organisations.
The events are part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme, with funding coordinated by Suffolk County Council and delivered locally by Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils.

“Each year, they provide a wonderful opportunity for people to get together, try new things and make some memories.
“I hope to see as many people as possible at our events in Stowmarket, Stradbroke and Thurston.”
Cllr Daniel Potter, Babergh District Council cabinet member for thriving communities, added: “These fun days would not be possible without the help of our partners across the district.
“By providing exciting activities as well as valuable information and resources, they all play their part to help make these events special, so I’d like to thank them all for their continued support.”
