A14 exit slip road at Tothill, Stowmarket, reopens after serious motorbike incident

An eastbound exit slip road of the A14 has reopened following a serious incident involving a motorbike.

It happened yesterday at around 12.30pm and saw an air ambulance land on a roundabout at junction 49 of the A14 at Tothill, Stowmarket.

Police and ambulance services were also called to the scene and the motorcyclist remains in a serious medical condition after being taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

National Highways tweeted that the slip road has been closed since 12.50pm yesterday.
