A14 reopens after crash between lorry and three cars outside Stowupland near Stowmarket




The A14 eastbound outside a Suffolk village has reopened following a four-vehicle collision this morning.

Police were called at 9.54am to the incident at Stowupland near Stowmarket, just after the A1120 slip road at junction 50, due to a crash between three cars and a lorry.

According to a spokesperson for Suffolk Police, the fire, police and air ambulance service were all in attendance.

Fire engines from Needham Market, Bury St Edmunds and Elmswell attended the scene.

Police had advised motorists to find alternative routes.

The incident comes after earlier today the A14 was closed in both directions between junction 52 at Claydon and junction 51 at Beacon Hill due to an overturned lorry.
