Stowmarket Fox Yard Studio hosts Valentine’s treat with life drawing session

A Valentine’s Day life drawing workshop with two models is coming to a town’s art studio tomorrow.

Fox Yard Studio in Old Fox Yard, Stowmarket is hosting the untutored session for any aspiring artists in the area.

The session starts at 6pm to 8.30pm and costs a reduced rate of £12 as Babergh Mid Suffolk District Council provided funding for the event.

Fox Yard Studio has recently taken on a community interest company (CIC) scheme to provide the people of Stowmarket with affordable artistic workshops and community events.

The company, Stowmarket Arts CIC, started delivering free workshops including creative writing, lino printing and knitting and crochet.

Alongside the Valentine’s sketching event, the studio are calling for submissions for its’ Emergence Exhibition which gives artists a chance to showcase their work.

The submission deadline is on Sunday, February 26 and the selected artwork will be displayed from Friday, March 17.
