Wright’s café joins Stowmarket’s Saturday market offering cheese toasties, coffee and sweet treats

A café branch known for its cheese toasties has joined a Suffolk market.

Wright’s, which has cafés in Bury St Edmunds and Helmingham Hall, has set up its market stall in Stowmarket today after seeing success at the town’s Christmas Fayre in November.

The business will be a regular trader at the market and the stall offers five classic toastie flavours as well as specialty coffee and sweet treats.

On social media, Stowmarket Town Council said: “We hope you will welcome this new trader and support them this weekend.”

Another recent change to the town’s market is the loss Swiss Farm’s butchers van.

After years of market presence, the trailer service will no longer be attending the Saturday event due to the company restructuring.

Stowmarket Town Council are searching for a new butchers van to replace Swiss Farm and is asking for any interested parties to email communities@stowmarket.org.
