Man taken to hospital after A14 crash between two lorries near Woolpit and Stowmarket

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash between two lorries on the A14.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway between junction 47 near Woolpit and junction 49 near Stowmarket at 11.30am.
A man has been taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for further care.
Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue and East of England Ambulance Service were at the scene.
The road was closed for some time but all lanes reopened at around 2.40pm.
A police spokesperson said one person was trapped in a vehicle — however, they were able to free themselves without assistance from firefighters.
