A14 delays outside Woolpit due to broken down lorry

There are delays on part of the A14 in Suffolk due to a broken down lorry.

Police were called at 7.52am today to reports of a lorry partially blocking the major route westbound between junction 47 at Woolpit and junction 49 at Tot Hill.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said lane one was blocked and officers are at the scene.

According to the AA traffic map, there is very slow traffic in the area.

Recovery has been called and is on its way.
