Queues on A140 at Stonham as lorry breaks down

Drivers were faced with long queues this evening as a lorry has broken down on a key route.

Traffic was building both north and southbound on the A140 at Stonham, near Stowmarket.

Suffolk Police placed traffic control measures in place, but said long tail backs are building.

They urged drivers to find alternative routes until the lorry was recovered.

Just after 6pm police confirmed the road is now fully open.
